Invites the Executive Secretary of the secretariat, in consultation with the President of the Conference of the Parties, to convene the initial meeting of the Transitional Committee, with members having the necessary experience and skills, notably in the area of finance and climate change; the meetings of the Transitional Committee will be open to observers;

Support was also provided to Parties on procedures for the nomination and election of officers to Convention and Kyoto Protocol bodies, in particular the Transitional Committee and the Technology Executive Committee.
