The Assembly would request the Secretary-General to invite each Member State to provide a report on steps taken to implement the provisions of the United Nations Declaration against Corruption and Bribery in International Commercial Transactions, for compilation by the Secretary-General and consideration by the Commission, with a view to examining further steps to be taken for the full implementation of the Declaration.
وتطلب الجمعية إلى اﻷمين العام أن يدعو كل دولة من الدول اﻷعضاء إلى تقرير بشأن الخطوات المتخذة لتنفيذ أحكام إعلان اﻷمم المتحدة لمكافحة الفساد والرشوة في المعاملات التجارية الدولية كيما يجمعها اﻷمين العام وتنظر فيها اللجنة، بغية دراسة اتخاذ مزيد من الخطوات من أجل تنفيذ اﻹعلان تنفيذا كاملا.

Because of the time lapse between the receipt of the responses to the survey and the preparations of the report on the implementation of the United Nations Declaration against Corruption and Bribery in International Commercial Transactions, the information on the status of adherence to the existing international legal instruments against corruption may have changed considerably.

In its resolution 51/191, the Assembly adopted the United Nations Declaration against Corruption and Bribery in International Commercial Transactions and requested the Economic and Social Council and its subsidiary bodies, in particular the Commission, to keep the issue of corruption and bribery in international commercial transactions under regular review and to promote the effective implementation of that resolution.

In section I of its resolution 1998/21, entitled " United Nations standards and norms in crime prevention and criminal justice " , the Economic and Social Council requested the Secretary-General to prepare survey instruments on the United Nations Declaration against Corruption and Bribery in International Commercial Transactions and the International Code of Conduct for Public Officials.
