71. UNRWA participated in the General Meeting between representations of the United Nations system and OIC, which was held at Geneva in November 1991, and will take part in similar meetings in the future.

The Coordination Meeting of the Focal Points of the United Nations system and OIC and its Specialized Institutions, which took place at Geneva in June, also adopted a number of important decisions to consolidate and rationalize cooperation between the two Organizations in nine mutually agreed priority areas of cooperation.
