In this regard, the World Conference on Human Rights is of particular relevance since it recognizes that the human rights of children constitute a priority within the United Nations system and it recommends that the United Nations bodies and specialized agencies should assess periodically the impact of their strategies and policies on the enjoyment of human rights.
وفي هذا الشأن، يتسم المؤتمر العالمي لحقوق اﻹنسان بأهمية خاصة ﻷنه يعترف بأن حقوق اﻹنسان الخاصة بالطفل تشكل إحدى اﻷولويات داخل منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة ويوصي بوجوب أن تقوم هيئات اﻷمم المتحدة ووكالاتها المتخصصة، دورياً، بتقييم أثر استراتيجياتها وسياساتها على التمتع بحقوق اﻹنسان.

وأوصى المؤتمر أيضا المسؤولين الرفيعي المستوى في هيئات اﻷمم المتحدة ووكالاتها المتخصصة، باﻹضافة الى تنسيق أنشطتها أثناء اجتماعاتها السنوية، بتقييم أثر استراتيجياتها وسياساتها على التمتع بجميع حقوق اﻹنسان.

ويمكن للمجلس أن يكرر توصية المؤتمر العالمي لحقوق اﻹنسان لكبار المسؤولين في هيئات ووكالات اﻷمم المتحدة بألا يكتفوا في اجتماعهم السنوي بتنسيق أنشطتهم، بل أن يضطلعوا أيضا بتقييم أثر استراتيجياتهم وسياساتهم على التمتع بجميع حقوق اﻹنسان)٨(.
