The Protocol enters into force, in accordance with article 17, on the thirtieth day following the deposit of a minimum of six instruments of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession by States parties to the Barcelona Convention.

Thereafter, the amendment shall enter into force for any State party on the thirtieth day following the deposit of its own instrument of acceptance.
ثم يُصبح التعديل نافذاً بالنسبة إلى أي دولة طرف اعتباراً من اليوم الثلاثين التالي لتاريخ إيداع صك القبول الخاص بها.

2. For each State which ratifies the Agreement or accedes thereto after the deposit of the tenth instrument of ratification or accession, this Agreement shall enter into force on the thirtieth day following the deposit of its instrument of ratification or accession.
٢ - فيما يتعلق بكل دولـة تصدق على الاتفـاق أو تنضـم إليه بعد إيداع الصك العاشر من صكوك التصديق أو الانضمام، يبدأ نفاذ هذا الاتفاق في اليوم الثلاثين التالي ﻹيداع صك تصديقها أو انضمامها.

2. For each State or entity which ratifies the Agreement or accedes thereto after the deposit of the thirtieth instrument of ratification or accession, this Agreement shall enter into force on the thirtieth day following the deposit of its instrument of ratification or accession.
٢ - يبدأ نفاذ هذا الاتفاق بالنسبة لكل دولة أو كيان يصدق عليه أو ينضم اليه بعد إيداع الوثيقة الثلاثين من وثائق التصديق أو الانضمام، في اليوم الثلاثين التالي ﻹيداع وثيقة التصديق أو الانضمام الخاصة به.

5. Amendments to this Agreement shall enter into force for the States Parties ratifying or acceding to them on the thirtieth day following the deposit of instruments of ratification or accession by two thirds of the States Parties.
٥ - يبدأ نفاد التعديلات التي تجرى لهذا الاتفاق، بالنسبة للدول اﻷطراف التي تصدق عليها أو تنضم إليها، في اليوم الثلاثين التالي ﻹيداع وثائق التصديق أو الانضمام من قبل ثلثي الدول اﻷطراف.

2. For each State which ratifies the Agreement or accedes thereto after the deposit of the fifteenth instrument of ratification or accession, this Agreement shall enter into force on the thirtieth day following the deposit of its instrument of ratification or accession.
٢ - فيما يتعلق بكل دولـة تصدق على الاتفـاق أو تنضـم إليه بعد إيداع الصك الخامس عشر من صكوك التصديق أو الانضمام، يبدأ نفاذ هذا الاتفاق في اليوم الثلاثين التالي ﻹيداع صك تصديقها أو انضمامها.

5. Amendments to this Agreement shall enter into force for the States Parties ratifying or acceding to them on the thirtieth day following the deposit of instruments of ratification or accession by two thirds of the States Parties.
٥ - التعديلات التي تجرى لهذا الاتفاق يبدأ نفاذها بالنسبة للدول اﻷطراف التي تصدق عليها أو تنضم إليها في اليوم الثلاثين التالي ﻹيداع وثائق التصديق أو الانضمام من قبل ثلثي الدول اﻷطراف.

Thereafter, for each State Party ratifying or acceding to an amendment after the deposit of the required number of such instruments, the amendment shall enter into force on the thirtieth day following the deposit of its instrument of ratification or accession.
