The purpose of this seminar is to encourage practitioners of countries in Asia-Pacific region to understand knowledge of counter-terrorism related international conventions and protocols, and to facilitate their early accession of those conventions and protocols.

Invites Member States and intergovernmental organizations within the United Nations system to continue their efforts to assist Caribbean countries in becoming parties to the relevant conventions and protocols concerning the management, protection and sustainable utilization of Caribbean Sea resources and in implementing those conventions and protocols effectively;
12 - تدعو الدول الأعضاء والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية في منظومة الأمم المتحدة إلى مواصلة جهودها من أجل مساعدة البلدان الكاريبية على أن تصبح أطرافا في الاتفاقيات والبروتوكولات المتعلقة بإدارة وحماية موارد البحر الكاريبي والانتفاع المستدام بها وأن تنفذ تلك الاتفاقيات والبروتوكولات تنفيذا فعالا؛

Invites Member States and intergovernmental organizations within the United Nations system to continue their efforts to assist Caribbean countries in becoming parties to the relevant conventions and protocols concerning the management, protection and sustainable utilization of Caribbean Sea resources and in implementing those conventions and protocols effectively;

The measures Egypt is taking to give effect to those conventions and protocols which it has already ratified are as follows:
لبيان الخطوات التي تقوم بها مصر لتفعيل المعاهدات والبروتوكولات التي صدقت عليها، نوضح ما يلي:

Invites Member States and intergovernmental organizations within the United Nations system to continue and enhance their efforts to assist Caribbean countries in becoming parties to the relevant conventions and protocols concerning the management, protection and sustainable utilization of Caribbean Sea resources and in implementing those conventions and protocols effectively;
" 12 - تدعو الدول الأعضاء والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية في منظومة الأمم المتحدة إلى مواصلة جهودها وتكثيفها من أجل مساعدة البلدان الكاريبية على أن تصبح أطرافا في الاتفاقيات والبروتوكولات المتعلقة بإدارة وحماية موارد البحر الكاريبي والانتفاع المستدام بها وأن تنفذ تلك الاتفاقيات والبروتوكولات تنفيذا فعالا؛

Similarly, it urges States to adopt the measures necessary for the effective application of those conventions and protocols, including the adaptation of domestic legislation to the obligations therein, with full respect being maintained for international human rights standards, international humanitarian law and the rights of refugees.
وعلى نفس المنوال، تحض الأرجنتين الدول الأعضاء على اعتماد التدابير اللازمة من أجل تطبيق تلك الاتفاقيات والبروتوكولات تطبيقا فعليا، بما في ذلك تكييف تشريعاتها الداخلية مع الالتزامات الواردة في تلك الصكوك، مع مراعاة الاحترام الكامل للمعايير الدولية لحقوق الإنسان والقانون الإنساني الدولي وحقوق اللاجئين.

4. Urges Member States that have not yet done so to consider ratifying or acceding to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime and the Protocols thereto, the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the international conventions and protocols related to terrorism, and urges States parties to those conventions and protocols to make efforts towards their full implementation;
4 - تحث الدول الأعضاء التي لم تصدق على اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية وبروتوكولاتها واتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الفساد() والاتفاقيات والبروتوكولات الدولية المتعلقة بالإرهاب أو لم تنضم إليها بعد على النظر في القيام بذلك، وتحث الدول الأطراف في تلك الاتفاقيات والبروتوكولات على بذل الجهود في سبيل تنفيذها على نحو تام؛

4. Please outline how Egypt gives effect to those conventions and protocols which it has already ratified. Are separate enactments required, or are the instruments incorporated into existing law?
