An election to fill the vacant seat will be held at the twelfth session of the Assembly of States Parties in November 2013.
وستجري انتخابات لملء المقعد الشاغر خلال الدورة الثانية عشرة لجمعية الدول الأطراف في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2013.

1. As indicated in document A/53/112 of 3 June 1999, the General Assembly will be required, during its current session, to appoint one person to fill the vacant seat in the membership of the United Nations Staff Pension Fund for the period beginning on the date of appointment and expiring on 31 December 2000.
١ - سيكون من الضروري، كما هو مبين في الوثيقة A/53/112 المؤرخة ٣ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٩، أن تقوم الجمعية العامة في دورتها الحالية، بتعيين شخص واحد لملء المقعد الشاغر في عضوية صندوق المعاشات التقاعدية لموظفي اﻷمم المتحدة للفترة التي تبدأ من تاريخ التعيين وتنتهي في ٣١ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ٢٠٠٠.

4. By a letter dated 22 May 2002, the United Kingdom informed the Secretariat of the Authority of the nomination of Michael C. Wood, Legal Adviser to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, to fill the vacant seat on the Finance Committee.

18. ١٨ - إذا رأى المؤتمر المشترك أنه لن ينجح في الانتخاب، تولى أعضاء المحكمة الذي تم انتخابهم ملء المناصب الشاغرة في مدة يحددها مجلس اﻷمن وذلك باختيار اﻷعضاء الباقين من بين المرشحين الذين حصلوا على أصوات في الجمعية العامة أو في مجلس اﻷمن.

By a note verbale dated 23 July 1998 from the Embassy of Japan in Jamaica, the Government of Japan informed the Secretary-General of the Authority of the nomination of Mr. Yuji Kajitani, expert in geology from the Metal Mining Agency of Japan, as candidate for the election to fill the vacant seat on the Commission.
