(a) The completion of the information before the Committee as to the measures adopted to give effect to rights recognized in the Covenant, taking account of questions raised in the Committee on the examination of any previous report and including in particular additional information as to questions not previously answered or not fully answered;

Under article 40 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights each State party has undertaken to submit, within one year of the entry into force of the Covenant in regard to it and thereafter whenever the Human Rights Committee established under the Covenant so requests, reports on the measures which it has adopted to give effect to rights recognized in the Covenant and on the progress made in the enjoyment of those rights.
١ - بمقتضى المادة ٠٤ من العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية تعهدت جميع الدول اﻷطراف بأن تقدم كل واحدة منها وفيما يخصها في خلال سنة ابتداء من سريان العهد، ثم كلما طلبت ذلك منها اللجنة المعنية بحقوق اﻹنسان المنشأة بموجب العهد، تقارير عن اﻹجراءات التي تقرر الدول اتخاذها ﻹعمال الحقوق المعترف بها في العهد وعن التقدم المحرز في إعمال هذه الحقوق.
