By resolution 57/235, of 20 December 2002, the General Assembly welcomed the generous offer made by the Government of Brazil to host the eleventh session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.
1- رحبت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها 57/235 المؤرخ 20 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2002، بالعرض السخي الذي قدمته حكومة البرازيل لاستضافة الدورة الحادية عشرة لمؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية في عام 2004.

Action: The SBI may wish to consider any offers to host the eleventh session of the COP and invite interested Parties to present offers as soon as possible.
42- الإجراء: قد ترغب الهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ في النظر في أي عرض من العروض لاستضافة الدورة الحادية عشرة لمؤتمر الأطراف ودعوة الأطراف المهتمة بتقديم العروض في أقرب وقت ممكن.

At the 6th meeting, on 17 - 18 December, the President informed the Conference that there had been no offers to host the eleventh session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 11) and COP/MOP 1, which is currently scheduled for 7 - 18 November 2005.

43- السيدة فروخي (الجزائر): تكلّمت باسم مجموعة الـ77 والصين فرحّبت بعرض كولومبيا استضافة الدورة الحادية عشرة للمؤتمر العام في كارتاخينا دي إندياس.

4. Mr. AREVALO (Colombia) said that in August 2004 Colombia had regretfully had to withdraw its offer to host the eleventh session of the General Conference, because of the need to give priority to security and social issues in its domestic budget.
4- السيد أريفالو (كولومبيا): قال إن كولومبيا كان عليها بكل أسف أن تقرر في آب/أغسطس 2004 سحب عرضها لاستضافة الدورة الحادية عشرة للمؤتمر العام بسبب حاجتها إلى إعطاء قضايا أمنية واجتماعية الأولوية في ميزانيتها المحلية.

5. Ms. TOUATI (Algeria), speaking on behalf of the Group of 77 and China, said that the Group took note of document IDB.29/16, in which the Secretariat announced the withdrawal of the offer by the Government of Colombia to host the eleventh session of the General Conference.
5- السيدة تواتي (الجزائر): تكلمت بالنيابة عن مجموعة الـ77 والصين فقالت إن تلك المجموعة أحاطت علما بالوثيقة IDB.29/16 التي أعلنت فيها الأمانة سحب العرض المقدّم من حكومة كولومبيا لاستضافة الدورة الحادية عشرة للمؤتمر العام.

7. Mr. GONZALEZ ANINAT (Chile) said that, against a background of ever closer relations between his Government and that of Colombia, he was sad to learn of the entirely understandable and responsible decision by Colombia to withdraw its offer to host the eleventh session of the General Conference.
7- السيد غونزاليس أنينات (شيلي): قال إنه بناء على العلاقات الوثيقة دائما بين حكومة بلاده وحكومة كولومبيا. أحزنه أن يسمع قرار كولومبيا المسؤول والمفهومة أسبابه تماما بسحب عرضها لاستضافة الدورة الحادية عشرة للمؤتمر العام.

Mr. ASIEGBU (Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry of Nigeria), noting the withdrawal by the Government of Colombia of its offer to host the eleventh session of the General Conference in Cartagena de Indias in 2005, said that his delegation appreciated the reasons for withdrawal of the offer and welcomed Colombia's assurances of its continued commitment to UNIDO.

27 - ترحب بالعرض السخي الذي قدمته حكومة البرازيل لاستضافة الدورة الحادية عشرة لمؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية في عام 2004، وتحيط علما بالدعوة الموجهة إلى الأمين العام للمؤتمر لكي يعد مشروع جدول الأعمال المؤقت والجدول الزمني للمؤتمر كي ينظر فيهما مجلس التجارة والتنمية في الربع الأول من عام 2003؛

(f) Took note of the preliminary announcement made by Colombia regarding its intention to host the eleventh session of the General Conference of UNIDO at Cartagena in 2005.
(و) أحاط علما بالاعلان الأولي الصادر عن كولومبيا بشأن اعتزامها استضافة الدورة الحادية عشرة لمؤتمر اليونيدو العام في كارتاخينا عام 2005.

He said that, in offering to host the eleventh session of the General Conference at Cartagena, his Government hoped to intensify UNIDO's links both with Colombia and with the Latin American and Caribbean region and to strengthen the UNIDO Regional Office located in Colombia.
5- وقال إن حكومته عندما عرضت استضافة الدورة الحادية عشرة للمؤتمر العام في كارتاخينا كانت تأمل أن تقوي روابط اليونيدو مع كل من كولومبيا ومنطقة أمريكا اللاتينية والكاريبـي وأن تعزز مكتب اليونيدو الاقليمي الكائن في كولومبيا.

At its twenty-seventh session, the Board took note of a preliminary announcement made by Colombia regarding its intention to host the eleventh session of the General Conference of UNIDO at Cartagena in 2005 (IDB.27/Dec.12 (f)).
وأحاط المجلس علما، في دورته السابعة والعشرين، بإعلان أولي من جانب كولومبيا تعرب فيه عن عزمها استضافة الدورة الحادية عشرة للمؤتمر العام لليونيدو في كارتاخينـا في عـام 2005 (مقـرر المجلـس م ت ص-27/ م-12 (و)).
