The use of violence to interfere with the exercise of official duties is penalized in article 429, on violence against public servants, and article 430, on disruption of official acts; intimidation and threat for the same purpose are not regulated.

22- تنصّ المادة 23 على أن تجرّم الدول الأطراف استخدام كل من وسائل الفساد كالرشوة ووسائل الإكراه، كالتهديد باستخدام العنف، للتحريض على الإدلاء بشهادة زور أو للتدخل في الإدلاء بالشهادة أو تقديم الأدلة، وكذلك استخدام وسائل الإكراه للتدخل في ممارسة موظف قضائي أو موظف معني بإنفاذ القانون مهامه الرسمية.

35. With regard to the establishment as a criminal offence of the use of physical force, threat or intimidation to interfere with the exercise of official duties by a justice or law enforcement official in relation to the commission of offences established in accordance with the Convention (para. (b)), Guatemala stated that it had adopted relevant measures in partial compliance.
وفيما يتعلق بتجريم استخدام القوة البدنية أو التهديد أو الترهيب للتدخل في ممارسة أي موظف قضائي أو موظف معني بإنفاذ القانون فيما يتعلق بارتكاب أفعال مجرّمة وفقا للاتفاقية (الفقرة (ب))، ذكرت غواتيمالا أنها اعتمدت التدابير ذات الصلة فامتثلت بذلك امتثالا للحكم المعني.
