(أ) التعجيل ببدء مفاوضات في مؤتمر نزع السلاح بهدف الإسراع بإبرام اتفاقية شاملة تتعلق بالأسلحة النووية لحظر امتلاكها واستحداثها وإنتاجها وحيازتها وتجريبها وتكديسها ونقلها واستخدامها أو التهديد باستخدامها، وتنص على تدميرها؛

India joined the statement made in the Conference on Disarmament by Chile on behalf of the Group of 21 on 26 March 2014 calling for the urgent commencement of negotiations on nuclear disarmament in the Conference, in particular on a comprehensive convention on nuclear weapons to prohibit their possession, development, production, acquisition, testing, stockpiling, transfer, use or threat of use and to provide for their destruction.
وقد أيّدت الهند البيان الذي أدلت به شيلي باسم مجموعة الـ 21 في مؤتمر نزع السلاح في 26 آذار/مارس 2014 ودعت فيه إلى التعجيل بالبدء في مفاوضات بشأن نزع السلاح في المؤتمر، ولا سيما بخصوص إبرام اتفاقية شاملة بشأن الأسلحة النووية لحظر امتلاكها أو استحداثها أو إنتاجها أو حيازتها أو تجريبها أو تكديسها أو نقلها أو استخدامها أو التهديد باستخدامها، وإلى التكفل بتدمير تلك الأسلحة.
