States must regulate working conditions and ensure safeguards to protect children from economic exploitation and work that is hazardous or interferes with their education or harms their health or physical, mental, spiritual, moral or social development.
37- ويجب على الدول تنظيم ظروف العمل وكفالة ضمانات لحماية الأطفال من الاستغلال الاقتصادي والأعمال الخطرة أو التي تؤثر على تعليمهم أو تضر بصحتهم أو نموهم البدني أو العقلي أو الروحي أو المعنوي أو الاجتماعي.

The Committee reiterates its recommendation (CRC/C/VEN/CO/2, para. 71) that the State party undertake an evaluation of the Programme to Dignify Working Children and Adolescents (PRODINAT), determine the numbers and categories of children working informally or formally, and take all necessary measures to protect children from economic exploitation.

(a) Continue to take effective measures to prohibit economic exploitation of children, in particular in the informal sector where the phenomenon is more prevalent, for example, by reviewing and amending the provisions of the Labour Code in order to protect children from economic exploitation through labour in the informal sector, including family enterprises, agricultural activities and domestic labour;
(أ) مواصلة اتخاذ تدابير فعالة لمنع استغلال الأطفال اقتصادياً، ولا سيما في القطاع غير الرسمي الذي تنتشر فيه هذه الظاهرة أكثر من غيره، وذلك عن طريق مراجعة وتعديل أحكام قانون العمل، لحماية الأطفال من الاستغلال الاقتصادي الناجم عن العمل في القطاع غير الرسمي بما فيه المشاريع الأسرية والأنشطة الزراعية والأشغال المنزلية؛

(e) Consider ratifying ILO Convention No. 138 concerning Minimum Age for Admission to Employment and adopting accordingly explicit legislation and measures to protect children from economic exploitation through labour in the informal sector, including family enterprises, agriculture agricultural activities and as domestic labour, and that technical inspections be extended to these areas; and
