وإذ تذكر بأنها قررت في الفقرة 108 من الوثيقة الختامية لدورة الجمعية العامة الاستثنائية العاشرة، وهي أول دورة استثنائية مكرسة لنـزع السلاح()، إنشاء برنامج للزمالات في ميدان نـزع السلاح، وبمقرراتها الواردة في المرفق الرابع لوثيقة اختتام دورة الجمعية العامة الاستثنائية الثانية عشرة، وهي ثاني دورة استثنائية مكرسة لنـزع السلاح(

In its operative paragraphs, the Assembly would reaffirm the relevant decisions on the programme as contained in annex IV to the Concluding Document of the Twelfth Special Session of the General Assembly and would express its appreciation to the Governments of Member States that invited the 1995 fellows to study selected activities in the field of disarmament, thereby contributing to the fulfilment of the overall objectives of the programme.
وفي فقرات المنطوق يعيد تأكيد المقررات ذات الصلة بالبرنامج، والواردة في المرفق الرابع من وثيقة اختتام دورة الجمعية العامة الاستثنائية الثانية عشرة، ويعرب عــــن التقدير لحكومات الدول اﻷعضاء التي دعت الحاصليــــن على الزمالات في عام ٥٩٩١ إلى دراسة أنشطة مختــــارة فــــي ميدان نزع السلاح، مما أسهم في تحقيق اﻷهداف العامة للبرنامج.
