50. The Committee is very concerned that the Civil Code continues to contain provisions that discriminate against women in the area of family relations, in particular with respect to the minimum age of marriage.

74. The Committee recommends that further measures be taken to implement the provisions of article 32, including in relation to the minimum age of access to employment, and that efforts be made to prevent and combat child labour in the country.
٤٧- وتوصي اللجنة باتخاذ مزيد من التدابير لتطبيق أحكام المادة ٢٣، بما في ذلك ما يتعلق منها بالحد اﻷدنى لسن الالتحاق بالعمل، وببذل الجهود لمنع ومكافحة عمل اﻷطفال في البلد.

(l) Order No. 89 of the Coalition Provisional Authority concerning amendments to the Labour Code (Act No. 71) of 1987 repealed resolution No. 368 of 1990, which provided for the employment of children under 12 years of age, and reverted to the minimum age of employment, i.e., 15 years. An order was issued rescinding the orders of the Coalition Provisional Authority.
(ل) ألغى أمر سلطة الائتلاف المؤقتة رقم (89) بشأن تعديلات على قانون العمل رقم (71) لسنة (1987) القرارَ رقم (368) لسنة (1990) الذي يقضي بعمل الأطفال الذين لا تقل أعمارهم عن (12) سنة ليرجعه للحد الأدنى لسن العمل وهو (15) سنة وقد صدر أمر بإلغاء أوامر سلطة الائتلاف المؤقتة.

52. The Committee recommends that the State party raise the age for the end of compulsory education to the minimum age of admission to employment as set out under article 79 of the Labour Act.
