1. 10. At the same session, the General Assembly also adopted 11 other resolutions and 5 decisions relating to specific Territories or other items on the agenda of the Special Committee, as well as a number of other resolutions relevant to the work of the Special Committee, by which the Assembly entrusted the Special Committee with specific tasks in relation to those Territories and items.
10 - وفي الدورة نفسها، اتخذت الجمعية العامة أيضا 11 قرارا آخر، و 5 مقررات تتعلق بأقاليم محددة أو بنود أخرى مدرجة في جدول أعمال اللجنة الخاصة، فضلا عن عدد من القرارات الأخرى ذات الصلة بأعمال اللجنة الخاصة، عهدت الجمعية العامة بموجبها إلى اللجنة الخاصة بمهام محددة فيما يتعلق بتلك الأقاليم والبنود.

1 - تشدد على ضرورة إيفاد بعثات زائرة بصفة دورية إلى الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي من أجل تسهيل التنفيذ الكامل والسريع والفعَّال لإعلان منح الاستقلال للبلدان والشعوب المستعمرة فيما يتعلق بتلك الأقاليم وفقا لما يتصل بالأمر من قرارات الأمم المتحدة بشأن إنهاء الاستعمار؛

Lastly, as the United Kingdom was indeed ultimately responsible for compliance with the treaty obligations of Overseas Territories, he urged the Government to reconsider its position on extending United Kingdom legislation on corporal punishment and civil partnerships to those Territories.
وأخيرا، فإنه حث الحكومة، بالنظر إلى أن المملكة المتحدة هي المسؤولة فعلا في النهاية عن امتثال أقاليم ما وراء البحار للالتزامات التعاهدية، على أن تعيد النظر في موقفها بشأن مد نطاق تشريعات المملكة المتحدة المتعلقة بالعقاب البدني والشراكات المدنية إلى تلك الأقاليم.

7. Requests the Territories and the administering Powers to take all necessary measures to protect and conserve the environment of the Territories against any degradation, and once again requests the specialized agencies concerned to continue to monitor environmental conditions in the Territories and to provide assistance to those Territories, consistent with the prevailing rules of procedure of the agencies concerned;
7 - تطلب إلى الأقاليم وإلى الدول القائمة بالإدارة اتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة لحماية البيئة في الأقاليم وحفظها من جميع أشكال التدهور، وتطلب مرة أخرى إلى الوكالات المتخصصة المعنية مواصلة رصد الأحوال البيئية في الأقاليم، وتقديم المساعدة إلى تلك الأقاليم وفقا للنظم الداخلية للوكالات المعنية؛

Successive Governments had given every encouragement to those Territories which wished to proceed to independence as an option.
وقد أعطت الحكومات المتتالية كل تشجيع للأقاليم التي أبدت رغبتها في المضي في سبيل الاستقلال كخيار.

It has also illegally transferred immigrants to those Territories with a view to altering the demographic composition of the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem in particular.
كما قامت بنقل غير مشروع لمهاجرين إلى هذه الأراضي المحتلة بهدف تغيير التركيب الديموغرافي للأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس الشرقية على وجه الخصوص.

The representative said that her Government provided support to Territories afflicted by disaster, and offered a wide range of development assistance to those Territories which needed it.
وأوضحت ممثلة المملكة المتحدة أن حكومة بلدها توفر الدعم للأقاليم المنكوبة بالكوارث كما تقدم طائفة واسعة النطاق من المساعدات الإنمائية للأقاليم التي تحتاج إليها.

According however to the great majority of other participants in the proceedings, the Fourth Geneva Convention is applicable to those Territories pursuant to Article 2, paragraph 1, whether or not Jordan had any rights in respect thereof prior to 1967.
ومع ذلك فوفقا للغالبية العظمى من المشاركين الآخرين في الدعاوي، تنطبق اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة على تلك الأراضي وفقا للفقرة 1 من المادة 2، سواء كان للأردن أم لم يكن لها أية حقوق تتعلق بها قبل عام 1967.

It once again appeals to the Government of Israel to give it access to those Territories, enabling it to learn directly from both sides the reality of the developments that have taken place and to contribute in the most effective way to the enjoyment of all human rights by all inhabitants of the occupied territories.
وتناشد مرة أخرى حكومة اسرائيل تمكينها من الدخول الى هذه اﻷراضي لكي تطلع مباشرة من الطرفين على حقيقة التطورات الحاصلة وتسهم بأكثر السبل فعالية في تمتع جميع سكان اﻷراضي المحتلة بجميع حقوق اﻹنسان.

(c) Participating non-governmental organizations shall be represented by the person so invited (see rule 6 above), who may make one general statement on issues within the purview of the Committee's mandate and pertaining to those Territories under its consideration during the course of the Seminar.

Seriously concerned, the Government of Azerbaijan officially requested the Chairman-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to send a fact-finding mission to those Territories to assess the damage inflicted upon the environment and prepare a report.
وإن حكومة أذربيجان، إذ شعرت ببالغ القلق، طلبت رسميا من رئيس منظمة الأمن والتعاون في أوروبا آنذاك أن يوفد بعثة لتقصي الحقائق إلى تلك الأراضي لتقييم الضرر المترتب على البيئة وإعداد تقرير عن ذلك.
