Recognizing the relevance of the relationship between trade and transfer of technology to the development dimension of the Doha Work Programme and building on the work carried out to date, we agree that this work shall continue on the basis of the mandate contained in paragraph 37 of the Doha Ministerial Declaration.
واعترافاً منا بأهمية العلاقة بين التجارة ونقل التكنولوجيا بالنسبة إلى البعد الإنمائي الذي يحمله برنامج عمل الدوحة، وانطلاقاً من العمل المضطلع به حتى الآن، نتفق على أن يستمر هذا العمل على أساس الولاية المذكورة في الفقرة ٣٧ من إعلان الدوحة الوزاري.

13. UNCTAD is encouraged to make inputs available to the WTO work programme on trade and transfer of technology, in particular on issues related to the above areas.

5. The Commission further encourages the secretariat to provide substantive support to the WTO Working Group on the Relationship between Trade and Investment, as well as to the WTO work programme on the relationship between trade and transfer of technology.

43. We take note of the report transmitted by the General Council on the work undertaken and progress made in the examination of the relationship between trade and transfer of technology and on the consideration of any possible recommendations on steps that might be taken within the mandate of the WTO to increase flows of technology to developing countries.
٤٣- نحيط علماً بالتقرير الذي قدمه المجلس العام بشأن العمل المُنجز والتقدم المُحرز في دراسة العلاقة بين التجارة ونقل التكنولوجيا، وبشأن النظر في كل التوصيات الممكنة حول الخطوات التي يمكن اتخاذها، في إطار ولاية منظمة التجارة العالمية، بغية زيادة تدفقات التكنولوجيا إلى البلدان النامية.

The lack of progress in WTO on implementation issues went against the development orientation of the Doha agenda, and those issues deserved more prominent treatment by civil society and by UNCTAD XI. Other issues raised by developing countries and deserving closer examination by civil society and UNCTAD XI included the issues of trade, debt and finance, as well as trade and transfer of technology.
أما عدم إحراز تقدم في منظمة التجارة العالمية في مسائل التنفيذ فيتعارض والاتجاه الإنمائي لجدول أعمال الدوحة، وهذه مسائل تستحق معالجة أبرز من جانب المجتمع المدني والأونكتاد الحادي عشر. ومن المسائل الأخرى التي أثارتها البلدان النامية والجديرة بالدراسة الدقيقة لها من قِبَل المجتمع المدني والأونكتاد الحادي عشر مسائل التجارة والديون والمالية، وكذلك التجارة ونقل التكنولوجيا.

35. The Doha Declaration puts emphasis on two central issues: (a) the relationship between trade and transfer of technology; and (b) possible measures that might be taken, within the mandate of WTO, to increase flows of technology to developing countries.
35 - ويشدد إعلان الدوحة على مسألتين رئيسيتين: (أ) العلاقة بين التجارة ونقل التكنولوجيا؛ (ب) والإجراءات التي يمكن اتخاذها، ضمن ولاية منظمة التجارة العالمية، لزيادة تدفق التكنولوجيا إلى البلدان النامية.

The Ministerial Declaration emphasizes two central issues: (a) the relationship between trade and transfer of technology; and (b) possible measures that might be taken, within the mandate of the WTO, to increase flows of technology to developing countries.
47- ويشدد إعلان الدوحة الوزاري على مسألتين رئيسيتين: (أ) العلاقة بين التجارة ونقل التكنولوجيـا؛ و(ب) الإجراءات التي يمكن اتخاذها ضمن ولاية منظمة التجارة العالمية لزيادة تدفق التكنولوجيا إلى البلدان النامية.

In accordance with the mandate in paragraph 37 of the Doha Ministerial Declaration, a Working Group on trade and transfer of Technology was established in the WTO to examine the relationship between trade and transfer of technology and possible steps that might be taken, within the mandate of the WTO, to increase flows of technology to developing countries.
5- ووفقاً للولاية المنصوص عليها في الفقرة 37 من الإعلان الوزاري للدوحة، أنشئ فريق عامل يعنى بالتجارة ونقل التكنولوجيا داخل منظمة التجارة العالمية للنظر في العلاقة بين التجارة ونقل التكنولوجيا والخطوات المحتملة التي يمكن اتخاذها، في إطار ولاية المنظمة، بغية تعزيز تدفقات التكنولوجيا على البلدان النامية.

16. The WTO Working Group on trade and transfer of Technology was of interest to the Commission.

As a result of efforts by the Geneva Office, UNIDO had been granted observer status in the Working Group on trade and transfer of Technology.
