31. In a letter dated 11 July 2007, the Government of Tunisia indicated that its legislation did not address specific offences concerning the recruitment, assembly, financing, training and transit of mercenaries.
31 - وفي رسالة مؤرخة 11 تموز/يوليه 2007، أشارت حكومة تونس إلى أن تشريعاتها لا تنص على جرائم محددة تتعلق بتجنيد المرتزقة وتجميعهم وتمويلهم وتدريبهم ونقلهم.

The Government pointed out that the territory was protected by the National Police, supported by an intelligence service, and also referred to the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti, which collaborated with the police to help prevent the recruitment, assembly, financing, training and transit of mercenaries.
وأشارت الحكومة إلى أن الشرطة الوطنية هي التي تتولى حماية الإقليم بدعم من دائرة الاسختبارات، وأشارت أيضا إلى بعثة الأمم المتحدة لتحقيق الاستقرار في هايتي، التي تتعاون مع الشرطة للمساعدة في منع تجنيد المرتزقة وتجميعهم وتمويلهم وتدريبهم ونقلهم.

It welcomed the entry into force of the International Convention against the Recruitment, Use, Financing and Training of Mercenaries; it welcomed the cooperation extended by those countries that had received a visit from the Special Rapporteur and welcomed the adoption by some States of national legislation that restricted the recruitment, assembly, financing, training and transit of mercenaries.
كما رحبت اللجنة بدخول الاتفاقية الدولية لمناهضة تجنيد المرتزقة واستخدامهم وتمويلهم وتدريبهم حيز النفاذ، وبالتعاون الذي أبدته البلدان التي استقبلت المقرر الخاص فضلا عن اعتماد بعض الدول تشريعات وطنية تقيد تجنيد المرتزقة وحشدهم وتمويلهم وتدريبهم ونقلهم.
