وقامت وزارة العدل بوضع مشروع قانون (إضافة بعض المواد إلى القانون الجنائي التركي وتعديلات لمادة في قانون مكافحة الجريمة المنظمة) فيما يتعلق ببروتوكول منع الاتجار بالأشخاص، وبخاصة النساء والأطفال وقمعه والمعاقبة عليه الذي يكمل اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الجريمة المنظمة العابرة للحدود الدولية.

As mentioned in Article 1 of this report, the Ministry of Justice in 2002 enacted a law on Addition of Some Articles to Turkish Criminal Code and Amendment of an Article in the Law on Combating Organized Crime as an effort to enhance the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime and the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children.
