Although they remain administratively attached to their respective national army, military personnel are, for the duration of their assignment, international personnel under the authority of the United Nations and subject to the authority of the Force Commander through his chain of command.

3. Appeals once again to Member States to respect and to ensure respect for the rights of staff members and other personnel acting under the authority of the United Nations and their families and to take the necessary measures to ensure the protection of United Nations and associated personnel in their territory;
٣- تناشد مرة أخرى الدول اﻷعضاء أن تحترم وتكفل احترام حقوق الموظفين وغيرهم من العاملين تحت سلطة اﻷمم المتحدة وأسرهم، وأن تتخذ التدابير اللازمة لتؤمن في أراضيها حماية موظفي اﻷمم المتحدة واﻷفراد المرتبطين بها؛

3. Appeals once again to Member States to respect and to ensure respect for the rights of staff members and other personnel acting under the authority of the United Nations and their families and to take the necessary measures to ensure the protection of United Nations and associated personnel in their territory;
٣- تناشد مرة أخرى الدول اﻷعضاء أن تحترم وتكفل احترام حقوق الموظفين وغيرهم من العاملين تحت سلطة اﻷمم المتحدة وأسرهم، وأن تتخذ التدابير اللازمة لتأمين حماية موظفي اﻷمم المتحدة واﻷفراد المرتبطين بها في أراضيهم؛
