Colombia supported the endeavour to draw up a regional programme, and hoped that the dialogue begun with the UNIDO Secretariat would be intensified and that the Organization would redouble its efforts to define specific activities, including subregional projects, with a clear strategy for the mobilization of financial resources and better use of available resources in the region, including the network of regional and national offices.
