10. Requests the Secretary-General to report to the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice at its fourth session on the activities of United Nations bodies and institutions with regard to the issue of violence against women and children;
٠١ ـ تطلب الى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم الى لجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية، خلال دورتها الرابعة، تقريرا عن اﻷنشطة التي تبذلها هيئات اﻷمم المتحدة ومؤسساتها فيما يتعلق بقضية العنف ضد النساء واﻷطفال ؛

The issue is how to create a forum to provide an exchange of views and oversee the work of the various United Nations bodies and institutions so that it is more coordinated and thus avoids duplication of efforts and resources.
وتتمثل المسألة في كيفية إيجاد منتدى يتيح تبادل اﻵراء ويشرف على أعمال هيئات اﻷمم المتحدة ومؤسساتها المختلفة حتى تكون أكثر اتساقا ومن ثم تتلافى الازدواجية في الجهود والموارد.

It requested the Secretary-General to report at its fourth session on the activities of United Nations bodies and institutions with respect to those issues and requested the Ninth Congress to consider them in the context of the workshop on the prevention of violent crime.
وطلبت إلى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم تقريرا في دورتها الرابعة عن أنشطة هيئات اﻷمم المتحدة ومؤسساتها فيما يتعلق بتلك القضايا، وطلبت إلى المؤتمر التاسع أن ينظر فيها في سياق حلقة العمل المعنية بمنع جرائم العنف.

211. The responsibilities incumbent on bodies with specific competence in human rights apart, all United Nations bodies and institutions should take into account the dimension of human rights which encapsulates extreme poverty, both in drawing up their policies and strategies and in choosing their methods for eradicating it.
١١٢- ينبغي لجميع هيئات اﻷمم المتحدة ومؤسساتها أن تأخذ، بغض النظر عن المسؤوليات التي تقع على عاتق هيئات منوطة باختصاصات معينة في ميدان حقوق اﻹنسان، بُعد حقوق اﻹنسان الذي يأخذ الفقر المدقع في الاعتبار سواء لدى وضع سياساتها واستراتيجياتها أو لدى اختيار اﻷساليب التي ستستخدمها للقضاء على الفقر.

(c) Request all United Nations bodies and institutions concerned with crime prevention also to gather data on a sex-disaggregated basis and record the relationship between the victim and the offender in statistics related to violence;
)ج( مناشدة جميع هيئات اﻷمم المتحدة ومؤسساتها المعنية بمنع الجريمة كذلك أن تقوم بجمع بيانات مصنفة على أساس الجنس وأن تسجل العلاقة بين المجني عليه والجاني في الاحصائيات المتصلة بالعنف؛

36. Bearing in mind the importance of the appraisal and review function of the Fourth World Conference on Women, the Expert Group Meeting urged the Secretary-General to prepare a report on the work of the United Nations bodies and institutions concerned with crime prevention in relation to their research with respect to violence against women and responses to such violence, to be presented to the Fourth World Conference.
٣٦ - وإن اجتماع فريق الخبراء، وهو يضع نصب عينيه أهمية مهمة الاستعراض والتقييم للمؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة، يحث اﻷمين العام على إعداد تقرير عن أعمال هيئات اﻷمم المتحدة ومؤسساتها المتعلقة بمنع الجريمة فيما يتصل ببحوثها بشأن العنف ضد المرأة والاستجابات لهذا العنف، لكي يقدم للمؤتمر العالمي الرابع.
