المقرر 1/9 - الترتيبات التي أعدها المدير التنفيذي لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة والمدير العام لمنظمة الأغذية والزراعة التابعة للأمم المتحدة لتأدية مهام الأمانة للاتفاقية

Requests the Secretariat, in consultation with the Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme and the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization, to report to it at its meeting in 2015 on the implementation of the present decision;
3 - يطلب إلى الأمانة أن تقدم إليه، بالتشاور مع المدير التنفيذي لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة والمدير العام لمنظمة الأغذية والزراعة، تقريراً في اجتماعه المقرر عقده في عام 2015 عن تنفيذ هذا المقرر؛

Article 19, paragraph 3, the Rotterdam Convention provides: " The secretariat functions for this Convention shall be performed jointly by the Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme and the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, subject to such arrangements as shall be agreed between them and approved by the Conference of the Parties. "
1 - تنص المادة 19 فقرة 3، من اتفاقية روتردام على ما يلي: " تُؤَدَى وظائف الأمانة لهذه الاتفاقية بصورة مشتركة بواسطة المدير التنفيذي لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة والمدير العام لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للأغذية والزراعة وفقاً للترتيبات التي يتم الاتفاق بشأنها بينهما ويعتمدها مؤتمر الأطراف. "

2. Invites the Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme and the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, when reviewing arrangements for the functioning of the secretariat of the Convention, to consider whether any changes are necessary based on the outcomes of the studies referred to in decision RC-2/6;
2 - يدعو المدير التنفيذي لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة والمدير العام لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للأغذية والزراعة أن يقومـا عند استعراض ترتيبات أداء وظائـف الأمانة للاتفاقية بالنظر فيما إذا كان من الضروري إدخـال تغييرات على أسـاس نتائج الدراسات المشار إليها في مقـرر اتفاقية روتردام - 2/6؛

4. Requests the executive secretaries of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions, in consultation with the Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme and the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization, to prepare proposals for the extraordinary meetings referred to in the preceding paragraph on:
4 - يطلب من الأمناء التنفيذيين لاتفاقيات بازل وروتردام واستكهولم، بالتشاور مع المدير التنفيذي لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة والمدير العام لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للأغذية والزراعة، إعداد مقترحات بشأن الاجتماعات الاستثنائية المشار إليها في الفقرة الفرعية السابقة عن:

1. Approves the arrangements by the Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme and the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations for the performance of the secretariat functions for the Rotterdam Convention to be concluded on the basis of the proposed memorandum of understanding contained in the note by the secretariat;
1 - يعتمد الترتيبات التي اتخذها المدير التنفيذي لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة والمدير العام لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للأغذية والزراعة لأداء وظائف الأمانة لاتفاقية روتردام على أساس الانتهاء منها بناء على مذكرة التفاهم المقترحة في مذكرة الأمانة؛()
