2. Calls upon the administering Powers that have not yet done so to cooperate or continue to cooperate with the United Nations by facilitating United Nations visiting missions to the Territories under their administration, in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the United Nations on decolonization;
٢ - تطلب إلى الدول القائمة بالإدارة التي لم تتعاون بعد، أولم تواصل تعاونها، مع الأمم المتحدة، عن طريق تيسير إيفاد بعثات زائرة للأمم المتحدة إلى الأقاليم الخاضعة لإدارتها، وفقاً لقرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة المتعلقة بإنهاء الاستعمار، أن تفعل ذلك؛

United Nations visiting missions aimed at a first-hand assessment of the situation were an appropriate means to that end.

105. In its resolutions relating to Non-Self-Governing Territories, the General Assembly has repeatedly called upon the administering Powers to cooperate or continue to cooperate with the Special Committee by inviting United Nations visiting missions to the Territories under their administration.
١٠٥ - وقد طلبت الجمعية العامة مرارا من الدول القائمة باﻹدارة، في القرارات المتعلقة باﻷقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي، أن تتعاون أو تواصل التعاون مع اللجنة الخاصة، وذلك بدعوة بعثات اﻷمم المتحدة لزيارة اﻷقاليم الواقعة تحت إدارتها.

Noting with satisfaction the cooperation and active participation of some administering Powers in the work of the Special Committee, as well as their continued readiness to receive United Nations visiting missions in the Territories under their administration,
وإذ تلاحظ مع الارتياح تعاون بعض الدول القائمة باﻹدارة ومشاركتها النشطة في أعمال اللجنة الخاصة، وكذلك استمرار استعداد هذه الدول لاستقبال البعثات الزائرة التي توفدها اﻷمم المتحدة إلى اﻷقاليم الواقعة تحت إدارتها،

5. Reaffirms that United Nations visiting missions to the Territories at an appropriate time and in consultation with the administering Powers are an effective means of ascertaining the situation in the Territories, and requests the administering Powers and the elected representatives of the peoples of the Territories to assist the Special Committee in this regard;
٥ - تؤكد من جديد أن إيفاد بعثات اﻷمم المتحدة الزائرة لﻷقاليم في الوقت الملائم بالتشاور مع الدول القائمة باﻹدارة يُشكل وسيلة فعالة للتحقق من الحالة في اﻷقاليم، وتطلب إلى الدول القائمة باﻹدارة وممثلي شعوب اﻷقاليم المنتخبين مساعدة اللجنة الخاصة في هذا الصدد؛
