As regards the protection of child victims and witnesses at all stages of the criminal justice process, the Committee draws the State party's attention the United Nations Guidelines on Justice in Matters involving Child Victims and Witnesses of Crime (Resolution 2005/20 of the Economic and Social Council).
971- فيما يخص حماية الأطفال سواء كانوا ضحايا أو شهوداً في جميع مراحل العدالة الجنائية، توجه اللجنة نظر الدولة الطرف إلى مبادئ الأمم المتحدة التوجيهية بشأن العدالة في الأمور المتعلقة بالأطفال ضحايا الجريمة والشهود عليها (القرار 2005/20 الصادر عن المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي).

37. The Committee recommends that the State party, in accordance with article 8 of the Optional Protocol, adopt appropriate measures to protect the rights and interests of child victims and witnesses at all stages of the criminal justice process.

34. In the light of article 8, paragraph 1, of the Optional Protocol, the Committee recommends that the State party ensure the protection of child victims and witnesses at all stages of the criminal justice process.

The Committee further recommends that the State party ensure that judges, prosecutors, police and other professionals working with child victims and witnesses receive training on child-friendly interaction with victims and witnesses at all stages of the criminal and judicial processes in order to avoid additional traumatization.

In the light of article 8, paragraph 1, the Committee strongly recommends that the State party ensure the protection of child victims and witnesses at all stages of the criminal justice process.
