While noting that assistance to victims have been included in the Prevention and Suppression of Prostitution Act of 1996, the Measures in Prevention and Suppression of Trafficking in Women and Children of 1997 and the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2008, the Committee regrets the lack of information on measures taken to identify child victims of all offences prohibited under the Optional Protocol, and not only the victims of trafficking.
