On 26 January 1990, the then Permanent Representative of France to the United Nations Office at Geneva sent me, in reply, the following text:'with regard to the legal situation of Bob Denard before the French law courts, it should be recalled that an arrest warrant was issued against Mr. Denard on the grounds of criminal conspiracy.

6. Without prejudice to the obligation to continue the investigation until the fate of the disappeared person has been clarified, each State Party shall take the appropriate steps with regard to the legal situation of disappeared persons whose fate has not been clarified and that of their relatives, in fields such as social welfare, financial matters, family law and property rights.
6 - مع عدم الإخلال بالالتزام بمواصلة التحقيق إلى أن يتضح مصير الشخص المختفي، تتخذ كل دولة طرف التدابير الملائمة بشأن الوضع القانوني للأشخاص المختفين الذين لم يتضح مصيرهم وكذلك لأقاربهم، ولا سيما في مجالات مثل الضمان الاجتماعي والمسائل المالية وقانون الأسرة وحقوق الملكية.

6. In resolution 67/177, States were called upon to take appropriate steps with regard to the legal situation of missing persons and the needs and accompaniment of their family members, in such fields as social welfare, psychological and psychosocial support, financial matters, family law and property rights.
وفي القرار 67/177، أُهيبَ بالدول أن تتخذ الخطوات المناسبة فيما يتعلق بالوضع القانوني للأشخاص المفقودين واحتياجات أفراد أسرهم وما يقترن بها من أمور في مجالات من قبيل الرعاية الاجتماعية والدعم النفساني والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي والمسائل المالية وقانون الأسرة وحقوق الملكية.

Please provide information about applicable law with regard to the legal situation of disappeared persons whose fate has not been clarified and that of their relatives, in matters such as social welfare, financial matters, family law and property rights (art. 24).
23- يُرجى تقديم معلومات عن القانون الساري فيما يتعلق بالوضع القانوني للأشخاص المختفين الذين لم يتضح مصيرهم، وكذلك الوضع القانوني لأقاربهم، فيما يتعلق بأمور منها الرعاية الاجتماعية والشؤون المالية وقانون الأسرة وحقوق الملكية (المادة 24).

Without prejudice to the obligation to continue the investigation until the fate of the disappeared person has been clarified, each State Party shall take the necessary measures with regard to the legal situation of disappeared persons whose fate has not been clarified and that of their relatives, in fields such as social welfare, financial matters, custody of children and property rights.
6- دون المساس بالالتزام بمواصلة التحقيق إلى أن يتضح مصير الشخص المختفي، تتخذ كل دولة طرف التدابير اللازمة بشأن الوضع القانوني للأشخاص المختفين الذين لم يتضح مصيرهم وكذلك لذويهم، في مجالات مثل الضمان الاجتماعي والمسائل المالية وحضانة الأطفال وحقوق الملكية.

174. with regard to the legal situation of persons having dual or multiple nationality, the Special Rapporteur had stated, in his third report, that it was not desirable to deal with the issue in connection with draft article 4, since the rule prohibiting the expulsion of nationals applied to any State of which a person was a national.
174- وفيما يتعلق بالوضع القانوني لمزدوجي الجنسية أو متعددي الجنسيات، رأى المقرر الخاص، في تقريره الثالث، أنه ليس من المستصوب معالجته في إطار مشروع المادة 4، بما أن القاعدة التي تحظر طرد المواطنين تسري على كل دولة يحمل فرد من الأفراد جنسيتها.
