14. In 2009, CEDAW reiterated its concern about the deeply rooted patriarchal attitudes and strong stereotypes regarding women's roles and responsibilities in the family and society.

340. The Committee urges the State party to intensify its efforts to eliminate stereotypical attitudes and perceptions regarding men's and women's roles and responsibilities in all areas of society.
