3. The Conference of the Parties shall adopt guidelines on the environmentally sound storage of such mercury and mercury compounds, taking into account any relevant guidelines developed under the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal and other relevant guidance.
3 - يعتمد مؤتمر الأطراف مبادئ توجيهية بشأن التخزين السليم بيئياً لهذا الزئبق ومركبات الزئبق، آخذاً في الاعتبار أي مبادئ توجيهية ذات صلة توضع بموجب اتفاقية بازل بشأن التحكم في نقل النفايات الخطرة والتخلص منها عبر الحدود وأي توجيه آخر ذي صلة.

(a) Best available techniques and on best environmental practices, taking into account any difference between new and existing sources and the need to minimize cross-media effects; and
(أ) أفضل التقنيات المتاحة وأفضل الممارسات البيئية آخذاً في الاعتبار أي فرق بين المصادر الجديدة والمصادر القائمة، وضرورة تقليل الآثار الشاملة لعدة أوساط إلى أدنى حدّ؛

(a) Best available techniques and on best environmental practices, taking into account any difference between new and existing sources and the need to minimize cross-media effects;

2. Each Party shall take measures to ensure that the interim storage of such mercury and mercury compounds intended for a use allowed to a Party under this Convention is undertaken in an environmentally sound manner, taking into account any guidelines, and in accordance with any requirements, adopted pursuant to paragraph 3.
2 - يتخذ كل طرف تدابير لكفالة الاضطلاع بالتخزين المؤقّت للزئبق ومركبات الزئبق المخصصة لاستخدام مسموح به لطرف ما بموجب هذه الاتفاقية بطريقة سليمة بيئياً، آخذاً في الاعتبار أي مبادئ توجيهية ووفقاً لأي اشتراطات اعتمدت عملاً بالفقرة 3.

The Conference of the Parties shall adopt guidelines on the environmentally sound interim storage of such mercury and mercury compounds, taking into account any relevant guidelines developed under the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal and other relevant guidance.
3 - يعتمد مؤتمر الأطراف مبادئ توجيهية بشأن التخزين المؤقت السليم بيئياً للزئبق ومركّبات الزئبق، آخذاً في الاعتبار أي مبادئ توجيهية ذات صلة توضَع بموجب اتفاقية بازل بشأن التحكُّم في نقل النفايات الخطرة والتخلّص منها عبر الحدود وأي توجيه آخر ذي صلة.

The Committee, after further discussion, agreed to reconvene the contact group briefly to reassess the information provided by the proposing party, criterion by criterion, taking into account any comments from observers that received the support of members and bearing in mind that drafting must be left to a drafting group.
