The Assembly recommended in its resolution 35/142 B that all Member States should make use of the reporting instrument and report annually to the Secretary-General their military expenditures of the latest fiscal year for which data were available.
وأوصت الجمعية في قرارها 35/142 باء بضرورة أن تنتفع جميع الدول الأعضاء بأداة الإبلاغ، وأن تقدم تقريرا سنويا إلى الأمين العام عن حجم نفقاتها العسكرية المنفقة في آخر سنة مالية تتوافر عنها بيانات.

1 - أهابت الجمعية العامة، في الفقرة 1 من قرارها 68/23، بالدول الأعضاء أن تقدم سنويا إلى الأمين العام تقريرا عن نفقاتها العسكرية عن آخر سنة مالية تتوافر عنها بيانات، ويفضل أن تستخدم قدر المستطاع إحدى استمارات الإبلاغ الموحدة، بما في ذلك تقديم تقرير يفيد بـ " عدم وجود ما تبلغ عنه " حيثما انطبق ذلك.

2. Calls upon all Member States to report annually, by 30 April, to the Secretary-General their military expenditures for the latest fiscal year for which data are available, using, for the time being, the reporting instrument as recommended in its resolution 35/142 B;
٢ - تطلب إلى جميع الدول اﻷعضاء موافاة اﻷمين العام، بحلول ٣٠ نيسان/أبريل من كل سنة، بتقارير عن نفقاتها العسكرية عن آخر سنة مالية تتوفر عنها بيانات، على أن تستخدم في الوقت الحالي أداة اﻹبلاغ الموصى بها في قرارها ٣٥/١٤٢ باء؛

That is why we attach great importance to the call upon all Member States, contained in paragraph 2 of the draft resolution, to report annually, by 30 April, to the Secretary-General their military expenditures for the latest fiscal year for which data are available.
ولهذا السبب نعلق أهمية كبيرة على الدعوة الواردة في الفقرة ٢ من مشروع القـرار التـي تطلب مــن جميع الدول اﻷعضاء أن توافي اﻷمين العــام بحلول ٣٠ نيسان/أبريل من كل سنة بتقارير عن نفقاتها العسكرية عن آخر سنة مالية تتوفر عنها بيانات.
