23. Also call for the urgent operationalization of the Warsaw International Mechanism for loss and damage associated with climate impacts, and stress that a permanent seat on the executive committee of the mechanism is to be allocated to small island developing States;

40. the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage was established to address the loss and damage caused by the effects of long-term climate change in developing countries, which are especially vulnerable to such effects.
40- وأُنشئت آلية وارسو الدولية المعنية بالخسائر والأضرار بهدف معالجة الخسائر والأضرار الناتجة عن آثار تغير المناخ الطويل الأجل في البلدان النامية الأكثر تعرضاً لهذه الآثار.

16. A major outcome of the Conference was the establishment of the Warsaw International Mechanism for loss and damage associated with climate change impact under the Cancun Adaptation Framework.
16 - ومن النتائج الرئيسية للمؤتمر إنشاء آلية وارسو الدولية المتعلقة بالخسائر والأضرار الناجمة عن تأثيرات المناخ، وذلك ضمن إطار كانكون للتكيف.

Also decides that the Warsaw International Mechanism shall fulfil the role under the Convention of promoting the implementation of approaches to address loss and damage associated with the adverse effects of climate change, pursuant to decision 3/CP.18, in a comprehensive, integrated and coherent manner by undertaking, inter alia, the following functions:
5- يقرر أيضاً أن تضطلع آلية وارسو الدولية بالدور المحدد في الاتفاقية المتمثل في تعزيز تنفيذ نُهُج ترمي إلى التصدي للخسائر والأضرار المرتبطة بالآثار الضارة لتغير المناخ عملاً بالمقرر 3/م أ-18 على نحوٍ شامل ومتكامل ومتسق وذلك بالاضطلاع بجملة مهام منها ما يلي:

Further decides that the Warsaw International Mechanism should complement, draw upon the work of and involve, as appropriate, existing bodies and expert groups under the Convention, as well as on that of relevant organizations and expert bodies outside the Convention, at all levels;
6- يقرر كذلك أن تكون آلية وارسو الدولية آلية تكمّل عمل الهيئات وأفرقة الخبراء القائمة العاملة في إطار الاتفاقية وتستند إليها وتشاركها، حسب الاقتضاء، وتستند، فضلاً عن ذلك إلى عمل المنظمات ذات الصلة وهيئات الخبراء من خارج الاتفاقية على جميع المستويات؛

On a proposal by the President, the COP adopted decision 2/CP.19, designated as the " Warsaw international mechanism for loss and damage associated with climate change impacts " , as orally amended.

54. Background: The COP, by decision 2/CP.19, established the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage associated with Climate Change Impacts, including extreme events and slow onset events, in developing countries that are particularly vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate change.

7. Also takes note of decision 2/CP.19 of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention at its nineteenth session,15 and resolves to work to implement and operationalize the Warsaw International Mechanism for loss and damage associated with climate change impacts;
7 - تحيط علما أيضا بالمقرر 2/م أ-19، الذي أصدره مؤتمر الأطراف في الاتفاقية في دورته التاسعة عشرة(15)، وتعقد العزم على العمل من أجل تنفيذ وتفعيل آلية وارسو الدولية المعنية بالخسائر والأضرار المرتبطة بتأثيرات تغير المناخ؛

1. The Conference of the Parties (COP), at its nineteenth session, established the Executive Committee of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage associated with Climate Change Impacts, which is to function under the guidance of, and be accountable to, the COP, to guide the implementation of the functions of the Warsaw International Mechanism.
1- أنشأ مؤتمر الأطراف في دورته التاسعة عشرة اللجنة التنفيذية لآلية وارسو الدولية المعنية بالخسائر والأضرار المرتبطة بتأثيرات تغير المناخ()، التي ستعمل بتوجيه من مؤتمر الأطراف وتكون مسؤولة أمامه، من أجل تقديم الإرشادات اللازمة لتنفيذ مهام آلية وارسو الدولية().

(a) the Warsaw International Mechanism for loss and damage, and decided that it shall fulfil the role of promoting the implementation of approaches to address loss and damage associated with the adverse effects of climate change, pursuant to decision 3/CP.18, in a comprehensive, integrated and coherent manner by undertaking, inter alia, the functions outlined in decision 2/CP.19, paragraph 5;

177. We reaffirm the importance of implementing the Warsaw International Mechanism for loss and damage associated with climate change impacts adopted at the nineteenth session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, held in Warsaw from 11 to 23 November 2013 (decision 2/CP.19).
177 - ونؤكد من جديد أهمية تنفيذ آلية وارسو الدولية لتخفيف الخسائر والأضرار المرتبطة بآثار تغير المناخ التي اعتمدت في الدورة التاسعة عشرة لمؤتمر الأطراف في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية بشأن تغير المناخ، الذي عقد في وارسو في الفترة من 11 إلى 23 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2013 (المقرر 2/م أ-19).
