I therefore call on the Assembly to develop at this session the modalities that will enable our nations to be able to resolve conflicts and promote peace and stability, foster a more prosperous world through balanced growth and prosperity among developed and developing countries, encourage all Member States to pursue a cleaner, greener, more sustainable world for our children, and create a safer world, free of nuclear weapons.
ومن ثم، فإنني أدعو الجمعية العامة إلى أن تضع في هذه الدورة الطرائق التي ستجعل دولنا قادرة على حل الصراعات وتعزيز السلام والاستقرار وإيجاد عالم أكثر ازدهارا من خلال تحقيق التوازن من حيث النمو والرخاء بين البلدان المتقدمة النمو والبلدان النامية، وتشجيع جميع الدول الأعضاء على السعي إلى إقامة عالم أكثر نظافة واستدامة ومراعاة للبيئة لأطفالنا، وإيجاد عالم أكثر أمانا، خال من الأسلحة النووية.

In the same spirit that made our peoples free, sovereign, democratic and human-centred nations, I invite the Assembly today to set its sights on a future of greater freedom, justice, brotherhood and solidarity among human beings.
وبنفس الروح التي جعلت شعوبنا تتمتع بالحرية والسيادة والديمقراطية وجعلتها أمما تركز على الاهتمام بالإنسان، أدعو الجمعية العامة هذا اليوم إلى التطلع إلى مستقبل ينعم البشر فيه بالمزيد من الحرية والعدالة والإخاء والتضامن فيما بينهم.
