Therefore, we commend and support the Declarations of Africa and South-East Asia as nuclear-weapon-free zones. In 1992, Mongolia declared its territory a nuclear-weapon-free zone, and I am pleased to note here that the nuclear-weapon States, along with other countries, have welcomed and supported our initiative.
لذلك، فإننا نشيد بإعلان افريقيا ومنطقة جنـــوب شــرق آسيا منطقتين خاليتين من اﻷسلحة النووية، ونؤيد هذين اﻹعلانين، وفي عام ١٩٩٢، أعلنت منغوليا أراضيها منطقة خالية من اﻷسلحة النووية، ويسرني أن ألاحظ هنا أن الدول الحائزة لﻷسلحة النووية، باﻹضافة إلى بلدان أخرى، رحبت بمبادرتنا وأيدتها.

That is why we believe that the establishment of nuclear-weapon-free zones in different parts of the world should be encouraged and supported. For its part, Mongolia is making efforts in this respect by declaring its territory a nuclear-weapon-free zone and taking the subsequent steps necessary to institutionalize its nuclear-weapon-free status.
ولهذا السبب نعتقد أن من الضروري أن نشجع وندعم إنشاء مناطق خالية من اﻷسلحة النووية في مختلف أنحاء العالم، ومن جانبها، تبذل منغوليا جهودا في هذا الشأن من خلال إعلان أن أراضيها منطقة خالية من اﻷسلحة النووية واتخاذ الخطوات اللازمة بعد ذلك ﻹضفاء الطابع المؤسسي على مركزها بوصفها منطقة خالية من اﻷسلحة النووية.

The States represented in the final document hoped that new nuclear-weapon-free zones would be established, particularly in the Middle East, and that other States would follow the example set by Mongolia in declaring its territory as a single-State nuclear-weapon-free zone.
