يشترط في القضاة الدائمين والقضاة المخصصين أن يكونوا على خلق رفيع، وأن تتوفر فيهم صفات التجرد والنزاهة، وأن يكونوا حائزين للمؤهلات التي تجعلها بلدانهم شرطا للتعيين في أرفع المناصب القضائية.

CARICOM States parties recognize the need for the Court to have judges who not only are highly qualified and of high moral character, but who also possess the requisite experience in international law, or criminal law and procedure, and who qualify for appointment to the highest judicial offices in their countries.
وتقدر الدول الأطراف في الجماعة الكاريبية أنه لا يكفي تمتع قضاة المحكمة بالمؤهلات العالية والصفات الأخلاقية الرفيعة فحسب، بل من الضروري أن يمتلكوا أيضا الخبرة الضرورية بالقانون الدولي، أو القانون الجنائي والإجراءات الجنائية، وأن يكونوا جديرين بالتعيين في أرفع المناصب القضائية في بلدانهم.

١ - يتعين أن يكون القضاة أشخاصا على خلق رفيع، وأن تتوافر فيهم صفتا التجرد والنزاهة، وأن يكونوا حائزين للمؤهلات التي تجعلها بلدانهم شرطا للتعيين في أرفع المناصب القضائية.

10. According to paragraph 1 of article 13 of the Statute of the International Tribunal, judges of the Tribunal shall be persons of high moral character, impartiality and integrity who possess the qualifications required in their respective countries for appointment to the highest judicial offices.
٠١ - ووفقا للفقرة ١ من المادة ١٣ من النظام اﻷساسي للمحكمة الدولية، فإنه ينبغي في القضاة أن يكونوا على خلق رفيع، وأن تتوفر فيهم صفات التجرد والنزاهة، وأن يكونوا حائزين للمؤهلات التي تجعلها بلدانهم شرطا للتعيين في أرفع المناصب القضائية.

15. According to paragraph 1 of article 12 of the Statute of the International Tribunal for Rwanda, judges of the Tribunal shall be persons of high moral character, impartiality and integrity who possess the qualifications required in their respective countries for appointment to the highest judicial offices.
٥١ - ووفقا للفقرة ١ من المادة ١٢ من النظام اﻷساسي للمحكمة الدولية لرواندا، فإنه ينبغي في القضاة أن يكونوا على خلق رفيع، وأن تتوفر فيهم صفات التجرد والنزاهة، وأن يكونوا حائزين للمؤهلات التي تجعلها بلدانهم شرطا للتعيين في أرفع المناصب القضائية.

11 - ووفقا للمادة 12 من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة الدولية لرواندا، بصيغتها المعدلة، فإنه ينبغي لقضاة المحكمة المخصصين أن يكونوا على خلق رفيع، وأن تتوافر فيهم صفات التجرُّد والنزاهة، وأن يكونوا حائزين على المؤهلات التي تجعلها بلدانهم شرطا للتعيين في أرفع المناصب القضائية.
