In conclusion, on behalf of all Security Council members, I thank the General Assembly for this opportunity to inform its members of the activities of the Council over the past year.

I also thank the General Assembly for its unanimous support for this resolution, which attests to the aspiration of the international community for peace and stability in the region.

Permit me, Mr. President, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary, to thank the General Assembly once again for its decision, and to express our hope that in the next ten years we will mark even better and more fruitful cooperation with both Governments and the United Nations.

Accordingly, I am pleased to thank the General Assembly deeply for again being so good as to devote a few minutes of its precious time to listening to the President of the International Court of Justice.
ولذلك، يسعدني أن أشكر الجمعية العامة جزيل الشكر لتفضلها مرة أخرى بتكريس بضع دقائق من وقتها الثمين للاستماع إلى رئيس محكمة العدل الدولية.

On behalf of my delegation and the Government and the people of the Gambia, I wish to thank the General Assembly for the warm welcome my delegation and I have received since our arrival.

In the name of my Government, I am particularly proud to thank the General Assembly for having supported the cause of Croatia, most of all by adopting resolution 49/43, concerning the occupied territories of Croatia.

It remains for me to thank the Assembly sincerely on behalf of the International Court of Justice for its encouragement and assistance during the review period, and to express my hope that this cooperation and understanding will increase in the years to come, so that the Court can contribute to the vision of a revitalized and effective United Nations.
بقي لي أن أشكر الجمعية العامة بصدق بالنيابة عن محكمة العدل الدولية على تشجيعها ومساعدتها خلال فترة الاستعراض، وان أعرب عن أملي في زيادة التعاون والتفاهم في السنوات المقبلة، حتى تتمكن المحكمة من الإسهام في جعل الأمم المتحدة أكثر حيوية وفعالية.
