The internal publication and documentation monitoring system, which was established by ESCWA in early 2004, aims not only to ensure 100 per cent issuance in Arabic of all the Commission's documents and publications, but also to monitor the workload in conference services and assess the impact of editing and translation requirements vis-à-vis the timeliness in completing manuscripts.
