The General Conference adopted the agenda of its eighth session as contained in document GC.8/1.

24. At its 6th meeting, on 31 October, the AGBM approved the draft report on the work of its eighth session as contained in document FCCC/AGBM/1997/L.1. The Group requested the Rapporteur, with the guidance of the Chairman and the assistance of the secretariat, to finalize the report on the first part of the eighth session.
٤٢- وافق الفريق، في جلسته السادسة المعقودة في ١٣ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر، على مشروع التقرير عن أعمال دورته الثامنة كما يرد في الوثيقة FCCC/AGBM/1997/L.1 وطلب الفريق من المقرر أن يقوم، بتوجيه من الرئيس وبمساعدة من اﻷمانة، باستكمال التقرير المتعلق بالجزء اﻷول من دورته الثامنة.

In paragraph 73 of the report of the Working Group on its eighth session (E/CN.4/Sub.2/2002/19), the Working Group recommended, inter alia, that seminars be held in different regions.
