56. The Special Rapporteur has noted in this regard, on the basis of information brought before her, that registration appeared often to be used as a means to limit the right of freedom of religion or belief of members of certain religious communities.
56- ولاحظت المقررة الخاصة في هذا الصدد، بالاستناد إلى معلومات لُفت انتباهها إليها، أن عملية التسجيل تُستخدم، فيما يبدو، كوسيلة لتقييد حق أفراد بعض الطوائف الدينية في حرية الدين أو المعتقد.

(a) The limited increase in the ability of members of certain religious minority groups, including the Bahá'i faith, the Baptist church, the Hare Krishna movement and the Seventh-day Adventist church, to practise their religion;

In this connection, the Committee draws the attention of the State party to its general recommendation VIII concerning the identification of members of particular racial and ethnic groups.
