Mr. Andrabi was proceeding to attend the current meeting of the Commission on Human Rights in Geneva.
وقد كان السيد أندرابي في طريقه لحضور الاجتماع الحالي للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان في جنيف.

114. On 12 April 1996, the Government provided the Special Rapporteur with information regarding the investigation into the killing of Mr. Jalil Andrabi.
٤١١- وفي ٢١ نيسان/أبريل ٦٩٩١ قدمت الحكومة معلومات إلى المقرر الخاص بشأن التحقيق في قضية قتل السيد جليل أندرابي.

Mr. Jalil Andrabi had attended the forty-seventh session of the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities and pleaded for the rights of Kashmiris.
وكان السيد جليل أندرابي قد حضر الدورة السابعة واﻷربعين للجنة الفرعية لمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليات ودافع فيها عن حقوق الكشميريين.

4. It is absurd to suggest that the Government of India had any interest in preventing Andrabi from attending the meeting of the Commission on Human Rights in Geneva.
٤- وإنه لمن السخف الايحاء بأن حكومة الهند لها أي مصلحة في منع السيد أندرابي من حضور اجتماع لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان.

223. The Government of India provided the Special Rapporteur with information and comments on the death of Jalil Andrabi.
٣٢٢- وقد وافت حكومة الهند المقرر الخاص بمعلومات وتعليقات حول وفاة جليل أندرابي.

227. The Special Rapporteur asked the Government to provide further information with regard to the case of Jalil Andrabi.
٧٢٢- طلب المقرر الخاص من الحكومة تقديم المزيد من المعلومات فيما يتعلق بحالة جليل أندرابي.

111. On 29 March 1996, the Special Rapporteur transmitted another communication to the Government of India, after receiving information that Mr. Andrabi's dead body had been found in a river on the morning of 27 March 1996.
١١١- وأحال المقرر الخاص بتاريخ ٩٢ آذار/مارس ٦٩٩١ رسالة أخرى إلى حكومة الهند بعد أن وردت إليه معلومات تفيد بأن جثة السيد أندرابي انتشلت من النهر صباح يوم ٧٢ آذار/مارس ٦٩٩١.

112. On 17 May 1996, the Special Rapporteur transmitted another communication to the Government in which he welcomed the prompt action taken by the Government in ordering an investigation into the murder of Jalil Andrabi.
٢١١- وأحال المقرر الخاص، في ٧١ أيار/مايو ٦٩٩١، رسالة أخرى إلى الحكومة مرحباً باﻹجراء السريع الذي اتخذته بإصدار أمر بالتحقيق في قتل جليل أندرابي.
