6.3 The Contractor shall comply with emergency orders issued by the Council and immediate measures of a temporary nature issued by the Secretary-General in accordance with the Regulations, to prevent, contain, minimize or repair serious harm to the marine environment, which may include orders to the Contractor to immediately suspend or adjust any activities in the exploration area.

6.3 The Contractor shall comply with emergency orders issued by the Council and immediate measures of a temporary nature issued by the Secretary-General in accordance with the Regulations, to prevent, contain, minimize or repair serious harm to the marine environment, which may include orders to the Contractor to immediately suspend or adjust any activities in the exploration area.
6-3 على المتعاقد الامتثال للأوامر التي يصدرها المجلس في حالات الطوارئ ولأي تدابير فورية ذات طابع مؤقت يصدرها الأمين العام وفقا للنظام للحيلولة دون لحاق ضرر جسيم بالبيئة البحرية أو احتواء ذلك الضرر أو الحد منه أو جبره، ويمكن أن تشمل أوامر تصدر إلى المتعاقد ليقوم على الفور بتعليق أو تعديل أية أنشطة في قطاع الاستكشاف.

4. Contractors shall take all measures necessary to ensure that their activities are conducted so as not to cause serious harm to the marine environment, including, but not restricted to, pollution, under the jurisdiction or sovereignty of coastal States, and that such serious harm or pollution arising from incidents or activities in its exploration area does not spread beyond such area.
4 - يتخذ المتعاقدون جميع التدابير اللازمة لضمان الاضطلاع بأنشطتهم بحيث لا تتسبب في إلحاق ضرر جسيم بالبيئة البحرية المشمولة بولاية الدول الساحلية أو الخاضعة لسيادتها، بما في ذلك التلوث على سبيل الذكر لا الحصر، وبحيث لا يمتد هذا الضرر الجسيم أو هذا التلوث الناجم عن حوادث أو أنشطة في قطاع الاستكشاف إلى خارج تلك القطاعات.

6-3 يمتثل المتعاقد للأوامر التي يصدرها المجلس في حالات الطوارئ ولأي تدابير فورية ذات طابع مؤقت يصدرها الأمين العام وفقا للنظام لاتقاء الضرر الجسيم بالبيئة البحرية أو خطر إلحاق ضرر جسيم بها واحتوائه وتخفيفه إلــى أقصى حـــد وإصلاحه، ويمكن أن تشمل أوامر تصدر إلى المتعاقد ليقوم على الفور بتعليق أو تعديل أية أنشطة في قطاع الاستكشاف.
