Mr. Chung Chang-ho (Republic of Korea) said that he agreed with the suggestion, but that the text of paragraph 1 proposed in working paper A/CN.9/WG.II/WP.157 (para. 8) should become the first paragraph of draft article 2 because, unlike paragraph 3, which referred only to notices under paragraphs 1 (b) and 2, that text would set out the general principle of methods of communication.
