The Secretary-General further wishes to recall paragraph 7 of the annex to resolution 55/285, in which the General Assembly decided that a joint debate should be held on the cooperation item, during which all or some aspects of cooperation between the United Nations and regional and other organizations might be addressed.

10. In connection with the effort to rationalize the work of the General Assembly, the Secretary-General wishes to recall paragraph 2 of section B of the annex to resolution 58/126, in which the General Committee is called upon to hold open-ended discussions on the options presented by the Secretary-General before making recommendations to the Assembly.

66. In connection with item 64 of the draft agenda (Advancement of women), the Secretary-General wishes to recall paragraph 16 of the annex to resolution 39/125 concerning the United Nations Development Fund for Women, which reads:

With regard to item 71 of the draft agenda (Promotion and protection of human rights), the Secretary-General wishes to recall paragraph 5 of resolution 62/171, by which the General Assembly decided to devote a special meeting at the end of the International Year of Human Rights Learning [to be held on 9 or 10 December 2009].

With regard to item 155 (a) of the draft agenda (United Nations Decade of International Law), the Secretary-General wishes to recall paragraph 19 of resolution 53/100 of 8 December 1998, whereby the General Assembly decided to convene a one-day plenary meeting on 17 November 1999 to mark the end of the Decade.
