The Strategy contains four strategic objectives (SOs) and five operational objectives (OOs) which guide the actions of all stakeholders and partners of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).
وتضم الاستراتيجية أربعة أهداف استراتيجية وخمسة أهداف تنفيذية يسترشد بها جميع أصحاب المصلحة والشركاء في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة التصحر في أعمالهم.

The Strategy is based on two sets of objectives: four strategic objectives with seven expected impacts, and five operational objectives with 21 related outcomes.

In this context, the secretariat of the Convention was assigned a lead role for operational objective 1 of The Strategy and specific outcomes of operational objectives 2 and 3; as well as a support role in other operational objectives.

22. As set out in The Strategy, Parties adopted five operational objectives that will guide the actions of UNCCD stakeholders and partners in the short and medium term, with a view to supporting the attainment of the above-mentioned strategic objectives.
22- اعتمدت الأطراف، كما هو موضح في الاستراتيجية، خمسة أهداف تنفيذية يسترشد بها أصحاب المصلحة والشركاء في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة التصحر في أعمالهم في الأجل القصير والأجل المتوسط، بهدف دعم تحقيق الأهداف الاستراتيجية المذكورة أعلاه.

35. Peace-building activities by United Nations agencies are focused on four strategic operational objectives of the country team: protection and human rights, provision of basic services, HIV/AIDS prevention and education.
35 - تركز أنشطة بناء السلام التي تضطلع بها وكالات الأمم المتحدة على بلوغ أربعة أهداف تنفيذية استراتيجية حددها الفريق القطري وهي: صون حقوق الإنسان، وتوفير الخدمات الأساسية، والوقاية من فيروس نقص المناعة البشرية/الإيدز، والتعليم.

10. With a view to supporting the attainment of the strategic objectives, the strategy also contains five operational objectives that would guide the actions of all Convention stakeholders and partners in the short and medium term (3-5 years).
10 - وفي سبيل دعم تحقيق تلك الأهداف الاستراتيجية، تشتمل الاستراتيجية أيضا على خمسة أهداف تنفيذية يسترشد بها جميع أصحاب المصلحة والشركاء في الاتفاقية في أعمالهم في الأجل القصير والمتوسط (3 إلى 5 سنوات).

In this context, the secretariat of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) was assigned a lead role for operational objective 1 of The Strategy and for specific outcome areas of operational objectives 2 and 3, as well as a support role in the achievement of other operational objectives.
2- وفي هذا السياق، أُنيط بأمانة اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة التصحر دور رائد في تحقيق الهدف التنفيذي 1 من الاستراتيجية وبلوغ مجالات نتائج محددة من الهدفين التنفيذيين 2 و3، فضلاً عن دورها في تقديم الدعم من أجل تحقيق أهداف تنفيذية أخرى.

8. By decision 3/COP.8, Parties adopted five operational objectives and related outcome areas that are expected to guide the actions of UNCCD stakeholders in the short- and medium-term, with a view to supporting the attainment of the strategic objectives of The Strategy.
8- بموجب المقرَّر 3/م أ-8، اعتمدت الأطراف خمسة أهداف تنفيذية ومجالات نتائج متصلة بها يُتوقَّع أن يُسترشد بها في أعمال أصحاب المصلحة في إطار اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة التصحّر على المدى القصير والمتوسط، بغية دعم تحقيق الأهداف الاستراتيجية المحددة في الاستراتيجية.
