27. Ms. ESTRADA de Uclés (Honduras), replying to a question about penalties other than imprisonment for acts of domestic violence, said that legislative reform had been initiated with the aim of protecting women's rights more effectively and closing loopholes in the former legislation.
27- السيدة إيسترادا دي أوكليس (هندوراس) قالت، ردا على سؤال يتعلق بالعقوبات الأخرى غير الأحكام بالسجن التي تصدر لمعاقبة أعمال العنف الأسري، إن عملية إصلاح التشريع الساري تهدف إلى حماية حقوق النساء بشكل أفضل وإلى سد الثغرات في التشريع السابق.

The Committee reached a similar conclusion in case No. 1366/2005 (Piscioneri v. Spain), whereas in case No. 1364/2005 (Carpintero Uclés v. Spain) it found that the revision carried out by the Supreme Court was insufficient and that a breach of article 14, paragraph 5, had taken place.
وتوصلت اللجنة إلى استنتاج مماثل في القضية رقم 1366/2005 (بيسيونيري ضد إسبانيا)، أما في القضية رقم 1364/2005 (كاربنتيرو أوكليس ضد إسبانيا) فقد رأت أن المراجعة التي قامت بها المحكمة العليا لم تكن كافية وأن انتهاكا للفقرة 5 من المادة 14 قد وقع.

211. In case No. 1364/2005 (Carpintero Uclés v. Spain), where the Committee found a violation of article 14, paragraph 5 of the Covenant, it declared that the State party was required to furnish the author with an effective remedy which allows a review of his conviction by a higher tribunal.
211- وفي القضية رقم 1364/2005 (كاربنتيرو أوكليس ضد إسبانيا) حيث استنتجت اللجنة وقوع انتهاك للفقرة 5 من المادة 14 من العهد، أعلنت اللجنة أن الدولة الطرف مطالبة بأن توفر لصاحب البلاغ سبيل انتصاف فعالاً يسمح بإعادة النظر في إدانته عند محكمة أعلى.

Ms. ESTRADA DE Uclés (Honduras) said that the National Women's Institute carried out follow-up activities to ensure the effective implementation of programmes aimed at improving living conditions among indigenous and Black communities, in particular those aimed at promoting and protecting the interests of women in those communities.
7- السيدة إسترادا دي أوكليس (هندوراس) قالت إن المعهد الوطني للمرأة يضطلع بأنشطة المتابعة لضمان التنفيذ الفعال للبرامج الهادفة إلى تحسين ظروف معيشة الشعوب الأصلية ومجتمعات السود، وخصوصاً البرامج التي تهدف إلى تعزيز وحماية مصالح المرأة في تلك المجتمعات.
