Article 26 provides, " a child whose nationality is Lao and whose adoptive parents are foreigners or one of them is a foreigner while the other is a Lao national shall retain his/her Lao nationality.
وتنص المادة 26 على ما يلي: " الطفل الذي يحمل جنسية لاو وأبواه بالتبنِّي أجنبيان أو أحدهما أجنبي والآخر من مواطني لاو يحتفظ بجنسية لاو.

The child in question may relinquish Lao nationality upon the request of the adoptive parents; a child whose nationality is Lao and whose adoptive parents are stateless or one of them is a stateless and the other is a Lao national shall retain Lao nationality " .
ويجوز لهذا الطفل التنازل عن جنسية لاو بناء على طلب الأبوين بالتبنِّي؛ والطفل الذي يحمل جنسية لاو وأبواه بالتبنِّي من عديمي الجنسية أو أحدهما عديم الجنسية والآخر من مواطني لاو يحتفظ بجنسية لاو. "

If parents are of different nationalities and one of them is a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a child born to them is a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan if it was born in the Republic of Kazakhstan; if born outside the Republic of Kazakhstan, the child is a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan if the parents or one of them has permanent residence in Kazakhstan.
وإذا كان الأبوان مختلفي الجنسية وكان أحدهما من مواطني جمهورية كازاخستان، فإن الطفل الذي يولد لهما يكون من مواطني جمهورية كازاخستان إذا كان قد ولد في هذه الجمهورية؛ فإذا كان مولودا خارج جمهورية كازاخستان، فإنه يعد من مواطني جمهورية كازاخستان إذا كان الأبوان أو أحدهما يقيمان إقامة دائمة في كازاخستان.

In the event of a dispute between the parents, they (or one of them) shall have the right to apply to a guardianship authority or to the court for a decision (art. 62).
ويحق للأبوين (أو أحدهما)، في حالة نشوب خلاف بينهما، اللجوء إلى سلطة للوصاية أو إلى إحدى المحاكم للبت في هذا الخلاف (المادة 62).

If both parents or one parent of a child who lives in the Republic of Tajikistan and for whom tutorship or guardianship by citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan has been established drop their Republic of Tajikistan citizenship and, in that context, do not participate in raising the child, the child maintains Republic of Tajikistan citizenship if the parents or tutor or guardian request that.
ويحتفظ الإبن المقيم في طاجيكستان، والذي فُرضت عليه الوصاية، أو القوامة، بالجنسية الطاجيكية بناء على طلب الوالدين أو الوصيّ، أو القيِّم، وذلك في حالة مغادرة الوالدين أو أحدهما الأراضي الطاجيكية.

Parents or one parent may be deprived of parental rights if it is established that they decline to perform their duties to bring up their children or misuse their parental rights, treat the children cruelly or exercise a harmful influence on the children by their own amoral or antisocial conduct, or if the parents are chronic alcoholics or drug addicts (art. 74).
ويجوز حرمان اﻷبوين أو أحدهما من الحقوق اﻷبوية إذا تبين أنهما يقصران في ممارسة واجباتهما في تنشئة أطفالهما، أو أنهما يسيئان استخدام حقوقهما اﻷبوية، أو يعاملان اﻷطفال معاملة وحشية أو يمارسان تأثيراً ضاراً على اﻷطفال بسلوكهما غير اﻷخلاقي أو المعادي للمجتمع، أو إذا كان اﻷبوان من مدمني الخمور أو المخدرات )المادة ٤٧(.

Lastly, attention must be drawn to the fact that a State official may fulfil both requirements or only one of them.
وأخيراً، ينبغي الإشارة إلى أن مسؤول الدولة يمكن أن يستوفي الشرطين أو أحدهما فقط.

" 2. The parties shall refrain from any measures which might have an adverse effect on the terms of settlement proposed by the commission, until those terms have been explicitly rejected by both or one of the parties and the period established in accordance with article 20, paragraph 2, has expired.

Section 3 of the Marriage Act states " a native, other than a native who is party to a subsisting [statutory] marriage. . . can enter. . .into a customary marriage in accordance with the custom prevailing in the tribe or group to which the parties to the marriage or either of them belong or belongs. "
وورد في المادة 3 من قانون الزواج أن " للمواطن الأصلي، غير مَن يكون طرفا في زواج دائم [قانوني]، 000 أن يعقد 000 زواجا عرفيا وفقا للعادات المرعية في القبيلة أو الجماعة التي ينتمي إليها الزوجان أو أحدهما " .

When differences of opinion arise in this regard, either parent or both may request the child-welfare authorities or the courts to settle the dispute (art. 62, para. 4).
ويحق للوالدين (أو أحدهما) عند وجود اختلاف في وجهات النظر بينهما اللجوء إلى سلطة الولاية والقوامة أو إلى المحكمة لحل هذا الخلاف (المادة 62، الفقرة 4).

In case of divorce, a petition of divorce can be made to the family arbitrators either by the two spouses jointly or by one of them.

If the parents cannot reach agreement, the dispute is settled by the courts with the participation of the guardianship authority at the request of the parents (or of one of them).
