It recognizes persisting legal and customary barriers to ownership of or access to land, natural resources, capital, credit, technology and other means of production.

Article 295 of the Criminal Code ordains that discriminatory statements and intent based on sex, race, colour or national origin, or actions obstructing or preventing the enjoyment of the rights to equality protected by the Constitution shall be punishable by six months to two years' imprisonment or a fine of between 200 and 500 quotas or both.
3- وتنصّ المادة 295 من القانون الجنائي على أن التصريحات التمييزية والقصد التمييزي القائمين على أساس الجنس أو العرق أو اللون أو الأصل القومي، أو الأفعال التي تعوق التمتع الكامل بالحق في المساواة الذي يحميه الدستور أو تحول دون التمتع بذلك الحق، يعاقب عليها بالسجن لمدة تتراوح بين ستة أشهر وسنتين أو بدفع غرامة تتراوح قيمتها بين 200 و500 كوتا أو بالسجن مع دفعة الغرامة.

(c) shall also be enforceable by process of law against all property which she may thereafter discover to be in possession of or entitled to: Provided that nothing contained in this section shall render available to satisfy any liability or obligation arising out of such contract any separate property which at that time or thereafter she is restrained from anticipating.
