Finally, article 12 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child contains the right to be provided the opportunity to be heard in any judicial and administrative proceedings affecting the child, either directly, or through a representative or an appropriate body.

38- وفيما يتصل بفرادى أطفال الشعوب الأصلية، فإن الدول الأطراف ملزَمة باحترام حق الطفل في التعبير عن رأيه مباشرة أو من خلال ممثل له في المسائل التي تعنيه، وعليها إيلاء الاهتمام الواجب لرأيه، بما يتناسب وعمره ودرجة نضجه.
