1 - إذا اختار مقدم الطلب أن يعرض المشاركة في رأس المال في ترتيب لمشروع مشترك، فعليه تقديم بيانات ومعلومات وفقا للمادة 20.

where the applicant elects to contribute a reserved area, the area covered by the application shall be sufficiently large and of sufficient estimated commercial value to allow two mining operations.
إذا اختار مقدم الطلب أن يسهم بمنطقة محجوزة، تكون المنطقة المشمولة بالطلب على قدر من الاتساع ومن القيمة التجارية المقدرة بما يكفي لإتاحة القيام بعمليتي تعدين.

4. Notwithstanding the provisions in paragraph 2 above, where an applicant has elected to contribute a reserved area to carry out activities pursuant to article 9 of annex III to the Convention, in accordance with regulation 17, the total area covered by an application shall not exceed 200 polymetallic sulphide blocks.
4 - وعلى الرغم من أحكام الفقرة 2 أعلاه، إذا اختار مقدم الطلب أن يسهم بقطاع محجوز للقيام بأنشطة عملا بالمادة 9 من المرفق الثالث للاتفاقية، وفقا للمادة 17، لا يجوز أن تتجاوز المساحة الكلية التي يغطيها الطلب 200 قطعة من قطع الكبريتيدات المتعددة الفلزات.

2 - إذا اختار مقدم الطلب أن يسهم بقطاع محجـوز، يقدم مقدم الطلب البيانات والمعلومات المتعلقة بهذا القطاع بعد تعيين المجلس للقطاع المحجـوز وفقا للفقرة 3 من المادة 17.

3 - وبرغم أحكام الفقرة 2 أعلاه، إذا اختار مقدم الطلب أن يسهم بقطاع محجوز للقيام بأنشطة عملا بالمادة 9 من المرفق الثالث للاتفاقية، وفقا للمادة 17، لا يجوز أن تتجاوز المساحة الكلية التي يغطيها الطلب 200 قطعة من قطع الكبريتيدات المتعددة الفلزات مرتبة في مجموعتين متساويتين في القيمة التجارية التقديرية.

4. Notwithstanding the provisions in paragraph 2 above, where an applicant has elected to contribute a reserved area to carry out activities pursuant to article 9 of annex III to the Convention, in accordance with regulation 17, the total area covered by an application shall not exceed 200 cobalt crust blocks.
4 - استثناء من أحكام الفقرة 2 أعلاه، إذا اختار مقدم الطلب أن يساهم بالقيام بأنشطة في منطقة محجوزة عملا بالمادة 9 من المرفق الثالث من الاتفاقية ووفقا للمادة 17، لا تتجاوز المساحة الكلية التي يغطيها الطلب 200 قطعة قشور غنية بالكوبالت.
