" 5. The Parties to this Convention agree that a claimant may not invoke a most favored nation provision to seek to alter the application [or non-application] under this Convention of the UNCITRAL Rules on Transparency.
" 5- يُوافق الأطراف في هذه الاتفاقية على أنه لا يجوز للمدعي أن يستظهر بحكم الدولة الأَوْلى بالرعاية بُغية تغيير انطباق قواعد الأونسيترال بشأن الشفافية [أو عدم انطباقها] في إطار هذه الاتفاقية.

Actions taken under this Convention to fulfil the solemn promise to mine victims have proven vital and commitments under the Cartagena Action Plan and remain valid and should be acted upon.

In accordance with Article 42, paragraph 2, of the Convention, the Government of Cyprus declares that information or evidence provided by it under this Convention may not, without its prior consent, be used or transmitted by the authorities of the Requesting Party in investigations or proceedings other than those specified in the request.
وفقاً للفقرة 2 من المادة 42 من الاتفاقية، تعلن جمهورية قبرص أن المعلومات أو الأدلة التي تقدمها في إطار هذه الاتفاقية لا يمكن استخدامها أو إحالتها من سلطات الطرف الطالب، دون موافقتها المسبقة، لاستخدامها في تحقيقات أو إجراءات غير تلك المحددة في الطلب الأصلي.

It was suggested to simplify the provision as follows: " A claimant cannot invoke a most-favoured-nation clause to alter the application or non-application of the Rules on Transparency under this Convention. "
فقد اقتُرح تبسيط الحكم على النحو التالي: " لا يمكن للمدَّعي أن يستظهر ببند الدولة الأَوْلى بالرعاية كي يغيِّر انطباق قواعد الشفافية أو عدم انطباقها في إطار هذه الاتفاقية. "

After discussion, a modified proposal in relation to paragraph (3) was introduced as follows: " Each Contracting Party to this Convention agrees that a claimant may not invoke a most-favoured-nation provision to seek to alter the application or non-application of the Rules on Transparency under this Convention. "
94- وبعد المناقشة، قُدِّم بشأن الفقرة 3 اقتراح معدَّل على النحو التالي: " يوافق كل طرف متعاقد في هذه الاتفاقية على أنه لا يجوز للمدَّعي أن يستظهر بحكم الدولة الأَوْلى بالرعاية بغية تغيير انطباق قواعد الشفافية أو عدم انطباقها في إطار هذه الاتفاقية. "

Each Contracting Party to this Convention agrees that a claimant may not invoke an MFN provision to seek to alter the application or non-application of the Rules on Transparency under this Convention. "
3- يوافق كل طرف متعاقد في هذه الاتفاقية على أنه لا يجوز للمدَّعي أن يستظهر بحكم الدولة الأَوْلى بالرعاية بغية تغيير انطباق قواعد الشفافية أو عدم انطباقها في إطار هذه الاتفاقية. "

In this connection, joint efforts of the SCO member States within the framework of this Convention are an effective form of combating terrorism, separatism and extremism.
وفي هذا الصدد، فإن ما تبذله الدول أعضاء المنظمة من جهود مشتركة في إطار هذه الاتفاقية يعتبر من الأشكال الفعالة لمكافحة الإرهاب والانفصال والتطرف.

61. Annex V country Parties to the UNCCD represent a unique group within the framework of this Convention.
61- تشكل بلدان المرفق الخامس الأطراف في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة التصحر مجموعة فريدة ضمن إطار هذه الاتفاقية.

1. With a view to facilitating cooperation within the framework of the Convention, States Parties shall establish central authorities, which shall communicate directly between themselves.
١- بغية تسهيل التعاون في إطار هذه الاتفاقية تعين الدول اﻷطراف سلطات مركزية تقوم بالاتصال المباشر فيما بينها.

Implementation of the programme areas of Agenda 21 should be carried out within the context of the Convention, including its regional implementation annexes.
وينبغي أن تنفذ المجالات البرنامجية من جدول أعمال القرن ١٢ في إطار هذه الاتفاقية مع مرفقاتها التنفيذية الاقليمية.
