He outlined three main aspects of the architecture: ensuring linkages between methodological and reporting elements and financing for results-based actions; observing linkages between REDD-plus and other bodies and tracks of negotiation under the Convention; and providing guidance to the GCF.

Guidance to the GCF and other financing institutions: Some concerns were expressed over the role of the GCF, owing to the uncertainty of when it will become operational.
49- توجيه الإرشادات إلى الصندوق الأخضر للمناخ ومؤسسات التمويل الأخرى: أُعرب عن شواغل إزاء دور الصندوق الأخضر للمناخ، بالنظر إلى عدم معرفة وقت تشغيله معرفة يقينية.

Also, many Parties were of the view that guidance could be given to the GCF to facilitate its decisions on financing for REDD-plus actions and activities, particularly if the GCF is to play a central role in a REDD-plus finance architecture.
وذهبت أطراف كثيرة أيضاً إلى أن بالإمكان توجيه إرشادات إلى الصندوق الأخضر للمناخ لتيسير قراراته بشأن تمويل إجراءات وأنشطة المبادرة المعززة، ولا سيما إذا أريد للصندوق أن يؤدي دوراً مركزياً في هيكل تمويل المبادرة المعززة.

8. The SCF also recommends that the COP, in providing initial guidance to the Green Climate Fund (GCF), take into consideration the elements of draft initial guidance to the GCF contained in annex VI.
