With targeted training at regional procurement workshops and the eventual placement of all five regional chief procurement officers, UNDP expects to improve the quality of procurement submission to the Advisory Committee on Procurement regionally and at headquarters, and to implement periodic review and analysis of the different types of waivers requested and approved by the Committee.
